Only 22 when she came on bord she managed to get his attention. And Now I watch as the dance to this song sipping wine as the best man. It should be me holding her like that.
"They look great together dont they?" I smile at Frank and nod
"Yeah, perfect." I say before turning back and watching them as they laugh and kiss each other softly.

"I cant think of one." I set her on the couch and look away as I grab my coat "But I do know as much as I want to stay I have a previous arrengment My love." I strech the old nickname in hopes that she gets it. But she doesn't. She just smiles her smile of a chester cat that got the bird and nods.

I let out another sigh and look up at the starless night sky and listen as the door opens and heels click before a feel arms wrap around my waiste and hug me.

"Its fine, just an emotional day." i say not looking back at her as she puts a small hand on my back
"I know, I never saw this day coming." I look back as she removes her hand and dabbs at her eyes "Oh shut up Way, I'm aloud to cry on my wedding day." 'Yeah, I should be crying too, you married the wrong Way.' I think to myself as my brother walks out and she brightens at the sight of him.

"Hey, you two need to come inside, can't have the party wondering if the Bride ran off with the best man." I try and laugh at him but it comes out a twisted grimce instead. "I'm gonna go inside real quick though. Dont run off you hear? I love you Riley." I tense as he kisses her again before running back to the doors where Ray and Bob had a mic and started a story about him.
"Micheal James Way!" I turn my head sharply at her voice "You tell me whats going on right now or I'm getting Gerard in on this!" She has that temper in her eyes and I know I have to come clean
"I love you Riley." I say after watching her for a minute and she smiles

"No Riley. I mean I really love you." I step as close to her as I dared as she searched my face " I love you like you and Geard Love each other Riley."
"Mikey," I watch as she stammers and trips over her words before looking to the ball room doors where a party for her marrige to my Brother is going on. "Mikey, Why didn't you say somthing sooner?! Why now? Why after the pappers where signed and after I asked if you could think of a reason to say no! Why?!" I dont know if shes madder at me for not saying something sooner, that she knows its the truth, or that she was mad at herself for not knowing why I was so distant.
"Because," I say once more trying to smile "Because when you came to the apartment when he proposed you looked so happy I held my tounge. I knew I could never make you that happy." I say shrugging wanting to hug her as the tears pour from her eyes in angry waves, but thats Gerards Job now, not mine.

But mostly I hate you for not being man enough to tell me untill after it was too late." I watch as she runs to the doors then stops "And I hate you for never seeing that I loved you too." I call out as she places her hand on the handle.
