Time Marches On?
“Hey…”
“Why hadn’t you come!? I am the only one that’s aloud to be absent so many days!” She joked as we walked to the place we always used to sit last year. We sat down; I stared at the empty table. “Huh!?” She insisted.
“Uh… I…” I sighed. “I don’t know.” I looked away.
“What’s wrong?”
“Nothing.” I lied.
“Ok…” They kept talking to each other; I kept staring at the table.
“So what did you do this vacation?” Oksana asked me.
“Not much…” Get kidnapped, then shot and I spent almost a month with my favorite band. Oh! And get a bigger crush than the normal with David. Blah… Doesn’t sound credible… Does it? No.
“C’mon you should have done something… Like, I don’t know, go to a concert? To the theatre? At least!”
“Umm… No. I’ve never been to a concert in my life.” I lied.
“You still haven’t!?” Oksana exclaimed again. “I went to see Green Day! It was so freaking amazing! Billie Joe is so going to be my husband someday!” She exclaimed happily.
“Yeah…? That’s awesome…” I made a fake smile.
I looked behind Oksana to find my male friends on the other side of the patio, beside them, my basketball teacher, he was looking our way. I looked at Cristian and practically pleaded to him with my eyes to save me from this uncomfortable moment. I really wanted to get away from everyone, but I needed an excuse. Nothing.
10 minutes later the bell rang, I wet back to class… still feeling dead.
Why do I feel this way? So numb… sad. Stupid. I knew he was going to leave. Why feel like this? Why waste time? It is useless. Nothing will change. It’s time to stop feeling sorry for myself. But… I am nothing without him… I’ve always been nothing. He was the only chance I had… but I guess I’ll keep being nothing.
Guess what!? This was the last chapter... =(
BUT there IS going to be a sequel! HAH! You thought you'd get rid of me, well NO! Mwahaha!
