What Do You Say?

waking isn't the only bad thing honey

Brian knelt down to one knee staring at me with his beautiful brown eyes and smiled his pearly white smile. Clad in his dark ripped jeans and black button up shirt, his collar popped to sculpt his cheekbones. He took my trembling hands and placed an open crushed velvet heart shaped box containing a beautiful diamond ring into my palms. Concert lights were all painted on us, Matt playing Dear God in the background on the piano while the other boys joined in on guitars. My eyes began to swell with tears, I knew the man of my dreams was asking me to marry him. I have been waiting for this for five years, he wants me and I have always wanted him.

“Alyssa, my love,” he smiled,” You have been my life since the night I grabbed your bra with your phone number in the inside. After that call everything changed for me. I will love you forever, so will you do me the pleasure of being my wife?” I grew silent due to the pure shock, inside I was screaming but nothing would come out. The crowd was yelling ‘say yes’ and Brian’s face was becoming worried. “So what do you say?” adjusting on his knee,” Alyssa what is your answer?” He stared at me with his eyes and pushed out his bottom lip. I jumped up from my seat and screamed.

“Yes! Yes! Yes! Of course I will marry you. I love you Brian Haner.” When I realized I was standing in the middle of the room with my fists up in the air, I knew I was coming out from a dream. The class burst into laughter as I crouched in my seat hiding my face. Do you ever have dreams that seem so real? Well I do, but if my dream really did happen I know that we would have been great together, Brian and I. And I wouldn’t have a F for falling asleep in my science class.
Alyssa i hope this puts you in total embarrassment, but this is only because i love you. Kisses.
