Okay! so we have a boy named Sam, he is a wingling, or an angel in waiting. he becomes his full angel self after being attacked by demons. ie. Wendigos. There are going to be multiple stories leading up to the events of Killing Lucifer. Sam will have to fight though the Gates of Hell, and defeat the 'Gatekeeper.' each one allowing him to grow closer to his goal. With Lucifer, dead. there is no more hell. and no there is not interfering force in the world, giving everyone..."true free will".
