The Nobody
Semper Fi
After this day of school Mel walks Joey home and Joey is actually glad that she wanted to keep him company.
At the door Joey turned To Mel, gave her a hug said good bye and then went inside.
Mel walked to the road and continued walking to her house a few kilometres away from Joey's house.
When Joey came inside he felt all happy again and suddenly he rushed out and ran to Mel and said:
'I decided to follow you to your house, if that's okay with you?'
'Of course it is.', said Mel and laughed.
And then Joey walked Mel home just like in a movie. When they reached Mel's door she turned to him, took his hand and said:
'Joey, thanks for being my friend!'
Joey just stared at her. After a while he said:
'Why do you thank me? It's me that should thank you for being my friend.'
Then Mel quickly ran inside without saying good bye to Joey, but he didn't bother, she was his friend and that was enough.
He was so happy that he finally had a friend that he forgot that his house was in the opposite direction of where he was going.
Mel opened the door and shouted to him:
'Your house is that way, silly.', and pointed in the opposite direction.
Joey blushed and hurried to go back to his house.
When he got home again he took a paper out and on that he wrote:
'Semper Fi, Try to get the best out of every situation'
And then he put some glue on the back side of it and then put it up on a wall in his room.
Then he went to sleep and dreamed about Mel and how they would hang out and have fun.
And suddenly he woke up to the wake up clock as e always did, but this morning it felt different waking up.
