The Trouble Is Unloving You

Nick sighed as he watch Joe take her up the stairs to his room. He ran his fingers through his hair and sat down on the couch.

"Nick you're pathetic." Kevin said plopping down next to him.

"Gee thanks Kev. You always know what to say." he replied sarcastically.

Kevin rolled his eyes. "I know right. But really" he continued. "You have got to either get over he or tell her."

"I already told her." he shot.

"And?"

"And she turned me down."

"Maybe" Kevin said. "But that was over a year ago. She likes you now."

"No she doesn't."

"Dude, you're so oblivious. Even Frankie noticed." Kevin said.

"Noticed what?" Nick asked.

"That you guys are pathetically in love, but both of you are too stubborn tell the other."

"I am not stubborn." Nick said, defensively.

"Yes, you are."

"No I'm not."

"Yes, you are."

"No I'm not." Nick said, growing impatient.

"No you're not." Kevin said slyly.

"Yes I am!" Nick realized what he had said and huffed crossing his arms.

"See I told you." Kevin said, smirking.



That night in Kevin and Joe's room...

"So?"

"Oh yeah, it'll definitely work." Kevin told his brother.

"Positive?" Kevin nodded.

"It has too. They can't avoid it." he said.

"What about her?"

"Heels over head." Joe answered.

"You talk to Heather and Britt?" Kevin asked.

Joe nodded. "They're in. they're as sick of it as we are and they've just been here today."

The two chuckled and schemed all through the night.
